  • Taking minutes: Recording the meeting's agenda, attendees, and decisions.

    Ensuring legal requirements are met: Checking the quorum and making sure elections are conducted properly.

    Maintaining records: Keeping track of the organization's activities, correspondence, and publications.

    Circulating agendas and reports: Sharing the agenda and any reports with attendees.

    This position is a board member. Attendance is mandatory at all meetings unless you contact the President to adhere to our bylaws of our nonprofit. Commitment is monthly meetings and one board of Directors meetings that happens in December or January. Being able to support all events is highly encouraged. You do have to be an Annual Supporter of PCCA.This is not a paid position.

  • Planning: Brainstorm ideas with board, adhere to budget, and determine costs.

    Booking: Select venues, negotiate rates, and book catering, entertainment, and transportation.

    Managing: lead a group of volunteers.

    Coordinating: Oversee event setup and execution, and ensure the event runs smoothly.

    Evaluating: Gather feedback, analyze results, and create reports 

    Skills excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and passion for creating exceptional events. 

    Event coordinators may work on event they select including Clay Pot Paintings, Management of Art Galleries submissions and take down, Mayfest Art Show, Perryville Chalk Art Festival, Senior Citizen Center window painting, PCCA Workshops and Halloween Masquerade Ball. This is not a paid position.

  • Creating content across , social media, newsletters, photography, and advertisements.

    The person selected will have access to our Adobe Express Nonprofit Account or can use their own software. Engagement and attendance at all of our events is highly encouraged. This is not a paid position.
