Call for Artists- Space is limited for this pop-up exhibit

This art exhibit is only for Annual Supporters of Perry County Creative Arts.

 

SUBMISSIONS OPEN: August 1 – September 15.

 

Event information: Wednesday, September 18 @ 6:30PM

Drop-off for artists: 5:00 PM

Pick-up for artists: After Dinner is over approx. 8:30PM

 

Art Exhibit Guidelines

Subject matter for this exhibit should be farm and nature. Think natural, organic and/or earthy.

Artwork should be original and be in compliant with copyright infringement laws.

Artwork is to be 2 dimensional. We will accept for example: fibers, small flat woodworking pieces, jewelry (must follow framing or be presented in a professional manner). 

Artists may submit one piece of art. After submissions have been accepted and space is still available, we will let the artists know to submit another piece to fill the show, if they choose so.

No work should exceed 40” in any direction, including the frame.

Artwork should weigh less that 8 pounds. Preferably less.

Artwork is to be framed or deemed hangable.

This is an outdoor event. Artwork under Plexi-glass or on canvas will only be accepted.

All artworks must be appropriately wired and suitable to be hung upon arrival of art. If artwork is poorly framed and wired, artwork will not be hung. This will be strictly enforced since this is an outdoor event. We want to protect the artwork.

All artists who submit artwork must fill out the artwork form on our website.

Sales Policy

Artists will be able to sell artwork at this show. If artwork is sold during the show. Payment will be accepted by PCCA at the event and buyer can immediately take the art as they are leaving event. The President of PCCA will be in attendance of this event and will take all forms of payments. Acceptable forms of payment: cash or check, written out to Perry County Creative Arts. PCCA retains 10% of any artwork sold in any show or exhibition gallery. All raised money goes to operational costs of future events, gatherings, and the future home of PCCA. Artist can receive their check for artwork during our normally scheduled general meeting on September 26, 2024, at the Catalyst Center at 508 N. Main Street, Perryville, MO.
